“Swarane Baishe Sraban” Organized by Mujhnai Sahitya Sabha Today

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar 9^th August, 2017: Today at Coochbehar the century old Sahitya Sabha i.e. Mujhnai Sahitya Patrika organized the program titled “Swarane Baishe Sraban”. The program was organized to commemorate the death anniversary of the World Poet Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore. The program started with the inaugural song presented by Mr. Bapi Sutradhar. Later on various speakers like Singer Smt. Manideepa Nandi Biswas, Prof. Alok Saha, Editor of ‘Titir’ Magazine Mr. Sanjay Saha etc. Everyone agreed that the thought process of the World Poet may bring in a ray of peace in this tension mounted North Bengal. In the program, there was song presentation by various artists and performers. One of the main points of the program was the release of the book edited by Mr. Souvik Roy, the editor of Mujhnai. The book is entitled “Dooars er Notebook” (A Notebook of Dooars). Some eminent dignitaries were also present among the audience i.e. Dr. Aniruddha Barman, Mr. Kishorenath Chakraborty, Mr. Debabrata Chaki, Smt. Chaitali Dharitrikanya and others.
